Marijuana.... prohibition again?

Marijuana - a drug that some believe causes bad behavior while others believe it just amplifies it. And, in a generation where the Prohibition of the 20s seems to be reliving itself through a different substance, many disagree with the current policies and want change. Now - for better or for worse, marjuana is an illegal drug that has caused much current controversay...

It is a drug that some people love and some people hate, but both sides of the spectrum seem to have valid and debatable points. Those who believe that marijuana should be legalized, for the most part, believe that prohibition is a more deadly thing than marjuana itself and many people believe that the usage of this drug is only harmful to the user of the drug. Those who are completely for the ban of marijuana seem to believe that it is in the best interest of the people and the common good to prohibit this substance. But yet some prefer to stay in between by choosing the option to regulate marijuana (neither prohibit nor completely legalize, example: HB 1623)
